Puppet Workshop

This is the puppet workshop where you can meet some of the puppets I have built and design from 2022 to this year.

The art of puppetry and puppet building are two things that I'm really interested in! So as soon as I got the chance, I bought some fabric and started learning how to sew at the same time as I learned how to create my own puppet.

Mac the Dog

First puppet

This is Mac, the first puppet I built.

I used a simple sock puppet pattern but made some modifications to fit the character design.

A black and white drawing of Mac waving and smiling
Mac's character design drawings, two photographs showing his front and side profiles, a photograpgh of him smiling and a photograph of him wearing a yellow bag
A photograph of Rorger and Tad together, two photographs showing Tad with his mouth open and his mouth close and two photographs showing Roger side and front profiles

Tad and Roger

The frog friends

Meet Tad and Roger, they're best friends!

I made them to practice eye focus, using ping pong balls to create their eyes.

Tad is the first puppet I made with a foam skull and body.

A black and white drawing of Tad and Roger, two arrows point at each one the one on the left has an inscription that read Roger and the one on the right reads Tad

Pat the Dog

Live hand puppet

This is Pat, the new puppy!

He's my first live hand puppet and the first puppet I've made with a mechanism inside their head.

This simple mechanism allows me to move his ear up and down while moving his mouth and head.

Pad's concept art, two photographs of the puppet and a gif showing a video of him rising his ear and looking at the camera smiling
