Synopsis:

Set almost 100 years after Captain Kirk's 5-year mission, a new generation of Starfleet officers sets off in the U.S.S. Enterprise-D on its own mission to go where no one has gone before.

Commentary:

My favourite Star Trek series so far. If you've never seen Star Trek before, this is a good place to start. You'll have to endure season 1 but after that it gets a LOT better, and you can say that about most Star Trek series so it's still a good place to start.
